Job summary

The University of Auckland invites applications for a Functional Analyst within the Technical Analyst Services Practice. You will support cross-functional value streams, analysing processes and delivering tailored People & Culture solutions across platforms.

You will engage with stakeholders, prototype and test features, and contribute to agile delivery in a dynamic university environment. This fixed-term role runs until 30 June 2027 with a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Experience as Functional Analyst, Business Analyst, or Applications Support in complex environments.
• Strong ability to analyse business processes, system requirements, data flows and integrations.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills, with stakeholder engagement as a core capability.

Responsibilities

• Provide 3rd level technical support and enhancements for high-impact technologies used by People & Culture.
• Analyse enhancement requests to understand technical and business components.
• Discuss, prototype, test and deploy new system features, changes or fixes.
• Create and maintain multi-audience knowledge content.
• Engage with stakeholders across backgrounds and Agile awareness.
• Participate in team planning to prioritise features and fixes.
