Job summary

This full-time position at Fletcher Building Limited in Te Anau involves serving customers at the trade counter and in the yard & Drive Thru area, while supporting account managers and key customers in Trad sales support. You will handle enquiries by phone, email and walk-ins, provide product advice, quotes and pricing information, and assist with inwards goods and stock rotation.

We're offering 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday with rostered Saturdays, at an hourly rate range of $25-$28

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service in a retail sales environment or sales support.
• Ability to handle enquiries by phone, email and walk-ins with a friendly approach.
• Physically fit for manual handling and lifting as required.
• Computer literacy with Outlook and basic software; full training on in-house systems provided.
• NZ driver's licence is essential; forklift licence is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a cheerful smile and provide exceptional service.
• Handle enquiries by phone, email and walk-in; give product advice, quotes and pricing.
• Support inwards goods, check and receipting into systems; cycle counting and stock rotation.
• Assist across departments in Te Anau branch, supporting account managers and key customers.
• Engage with trades, businesses and homeowners to tailor solutions.
