Whakatane JB GROUP NZ LIMITED is seeking Retail Assistants to join our busy operation in Whakatane. You will deliver outstanding customer service, greet customers, and work with the team to ensure a positive shopping experience.

You must be able to communicate well in English and be available for 7 days, including late evenings, weekends, and public holidays. Wages are $25-$27 per hour for a full-time role with a minimum of 32 hours.

Formación

• Deliver outstanding customer service to all customers.
• Greet customers and provide friendly, helpful service and product recommendations.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to support daily store operations.
• Communicate clearly in English.
• Be available to work 7 days (rostered), late evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver outstanding customer service to all customers by listening and responding to queries.
• Greet customers as they enter/leave the store and provide product recommendations.
• Work with the team to support daily store operations and customer experience.
• Scan and record prices for goods for sale and process payments.
• Maintain checkout accuracy and handle cash securely.
• Prepare store displays and ensure products are labelled correctly.
• Keep shop floor, displays and storage areas clean and organized.
• Assist with other tasks as required by the manager.
