Job summary

New World Green Bay is seeking a Bakery Assistant Manager to support the Bakery Manager in leading a busy team and delivering exceptional bakery products to the Green Bay community.

You will be hands-on with baking, packing, merchandising, ordering and daily bakery operations, while ensuring food safety and high standards of freshness and presentation. Previous leadership and bakery experience preferred; SAP knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Be hands-on with baking, packing, merchandising, ordering, and daily bakery operations
• Maintain high standards of quality, freshness, and presentation throughout the day
• Help manage department financial performance and wage budgets through rostering
• Lead, coach, and develop team members through ongoing training
• Drive creativity and innovation, especially in the scratch-made sweets range
• Ensure Food Safety and Health & Safety standards are consistently met
• Be a positive role model and work closely with a diverse team
