Job summary

ACC is seeking a Senior Developer to design, build and support digital solutions for New Zealanders. You will contribute to ACC's web platforms, improving security, performance, accessibility and reliability as part of the Digital Value Stream.

Qualifications

• Experience in Agile delivery environments (e.g., Scrum, SAFe) or similar.
• Strong software development experience using React, TypeScript, Redux, Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, SQL, and Maven.
• Experience with enterprise platforms and engineering practices, including OpenShift/Kubernetes, Web APIs, SQL databases and CI/CD deployment pipelines.
• Knowledge of SOLID, REST, automated testing, TDD and BDD.
• Experience designing, developing and maintaining automated unit tests with mocking frameworks.
• Knowledge of web accessibility standards and best practices.
• Understanding of networking principles to support secure and reliable web apps.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Collaborative approach, including mentoring and supporting other developers.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Elastic Cloud, Bootstrap, Sass or LESS is advantageous.
• NZ work rights required.
