IDEXX Laboratories in Auckland City, NZ, is looking for an Intermediate Full Stack Engineer to join our Auckland R&D hub. You will contribute to building and enhancing our next-generation veterinary software platforms in a cloud-native environment, delivering scalable solutions for veterinary practices and their clients.

You’ll work with TypeScript, Go, and React, develop new features, troubleshoot issues, and improve performance and code quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience developing web or mobile applications.
• Experience with unit testing and ensuring code quality.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design, modular design, and design patterns.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to building robust and maintainable solutions using TypeScript, Go, and cloud-native architectures.
• Develop new features from scratch while enhancing existing functionality.
• Identify issues, troubleshoot problems, and resolve bugs with speed and precision.
• Diagnose and address system performance challenges to improve reliability and responsiveness.
• Collaborate with your squad to deliver high-quality outcomes and support shared goals.
