IDEXX Veterinary Software in Auckland is seeking a Product Manager to own the performance, reliability, and scalability of the ezyVet platform, shaping the experience for veterinary practices worldwide.

You’ll collaborate with Engineering, Customer Success, and enterprise customers to drive API initiatives and a modern, fast integration ecosystem, turning feedback and operations data into clear product opportunities.

As IDEXX Veterinary Software continues to grow, we're looking for a Product Manager to join the ezyVet team and help shape the future of our enterprise platform. This role sits at the intersection of customer experience, platform performance, reliability, and technical product development.

You'll work closely with Engineering, Customer Success, Enterprise customers, and key internal stakeholders to ensure ezyVet continues to deliver a stable, scalable, and high-performing experience for veterinary practices around the world. Alongside this, you'll help drive our API strategy and technical roadmap, enabling deeper integrations and expanding our platform capabilities.

What You Will Be Responsible For

Driving Enterprise Platform Performance

You’ll own a critical product area focused on the performance, reliability, and stability of the ezyVet platform.

Working alongside Engineering teams and specialist technical resources, you’ll help identify and prioritise opportunities that improve system performance and reduce customer-impacting issues across our customer base, with a particular focus on our largest enterprise customers.

Key Areas Of Ownership Include

• Driving initiatives that improve platform performance, reliability, and stability
• Understanding and reducing customer-impacting outages and response time issues
• Working closely with our largest enterprise customers to understand their challenges and priorities
• Turning customer feedback and operational insights into product opportunities
• Leveraging data, reporting, dashboards, and deep system analysis to uncover root causes of performance issues
• Partnering with Engineering to prioritise improvements that create measurable customer outcomes

Leading API and Technical Product Initiatives

This role also includes ownership of several technical product streams focused on integrations and platform capabilities.

You’ll work closely with Engineering and partner-facing teams to help evolve our API ecosystem and integration strategy.

This Includes

• Assisting to manage the roadmap for API and integration capabilities
• Supporting the rollout of lightweight API
• Helping drive platform modernisation initiatives and framework upgrades that improve delivery speed and scalability
• Managing incoming integration and API requests from strategic partners
• Working closely with partnership stakeholders
• Contributing to go-to-market planning and successful release execution for new capabilities

What We’re Looking For

• Experience leading product delivery within SaaS, platform, infrastructure, or highly technical product environments
• Strong understanding of customer needs with the ability to translate feedback into product outcomes
• Experience working closely with Engineering teams to deliver complex technical initiatives
• Ability to use qualitative and quantitative data to inform decisions and prioritisation
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience managing evolving product roadmaps and balancing competing priorities
• A customer-first mindset combined with a strong appreciation for technical complexity
• Experience working within Agile product development environments

Bonus Points If You Have

• Experience with APIs, integrations, or developer-focused products
• Exposure to platform scalability, performance reliability, or infrastructure initiatives
• Experience working with enterprise or strategic customers
• A technical background or ability to comfortably engage in technical discussions with engineering teams
