Job summary

Concord Visa is looking for a capable full‑stack developer to join the Auckland product team. You’ll work on a modern JS stack (TypeScript, React, Hono, PostgreSQL, Mantine) across client workflows, automated document generation, and internal tools, with a strong emphasis on AI-powered features.

You’ll collaborate with immigration lawyers and case managers to translate complex workflows into scalable software while contributing to product direction in a fast-growing NZ startup.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years building software professionally for web apps or SaaS.
• Experience with modern JS frameworks (TypeScript, React) and SQL‑based databases.
• Genuine curiosity about AI and LLMs - excited to work with them.
• Product‑first mindset; care about user experience.
• Strong communication skills for non‑technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Feature development across the full stack (UX, backend, APIs) on a modern JS platform.
• AI‑assisted features in customer-facing and internal workflows.
• Domain expertise: work with immigration lawyers and case managers to map workflows to software.
• Security-conscious development with data privacy and multi‑jurisdiction governance.
• Internal tooling and workflow improvements to support rapid prototyping.
