Job summary

Jora New Zealand is seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to join our Auckland team. You will own both frontend and backend development for scalable cloud-native applications, leveraging React/TypeScript on the frontend and Node.js/Express on the backend.

You will work with Azure App Services, Azure SQL, and Prisma ORM, implementing secure authentication patterns (RBAC, OAuth/SAML) and modern CI/CD pipelines. Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer sciences or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in application development with a focus on full stack applications.
• 5+ years building scalable apps in SERN (SQL, Express, React & Node) or MERN (MongoDB, Express, React & Node).
• 5+ years front-end development with React, TypeScript, Redux and component libraries.
• 5+ years back-end development using Node.js and Express.js with REST APIs.
• 5+ years working with Azure cloud services (Azure App Services preferred).
• Strong SQL skills and relational schema design; Prisma ORM familiarity.
• Experience in CI/CD with Azure DevOps, Git, and automated deployment.
• Knowledge of authentication/authorization patterns (RBAC, OAuth/SAML).
• Experience with Azure PaaS services and SendGrid is a plus.
• Awareness of data governance and security in cloud environments.

• Bachelor's degree in computer sciences or related field of study.
• 8+ years of experience in application development with a focus on full stack applications.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in building scalable applications in SERN (SQL, Express, React & Node) or MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React & Node)
• 5+ years of experience in front-end development using React with Typescript, Redux and Component libraries.
• 5+ years of experience in back-end development using Node.js and Express.js including REST API development.
• 5+ years of experience working with Azure cloud services, preferably Azure App Services (Linux).
• Strong experience working with Azure SQL database, writing complex SQL queries, and managing relational schemas.
• Familiarity with ORM tool Prisma.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Git, and automated deployment strategies.
• Solid understanding of authentication and authorization patterns, including RBAC and OAuth/SAML integrations.
• Experience integrating with SendGrid, Azure Blob storage and other azure PaaS services is a plus.
• Familiarity with data governance, privacy, and security best practices in cloud environments.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams.
