Job summary

The University of Auckland is seeking a Full Stack Developer to join the Human Health Research Services Platform at the Liggins Institute. You will design, develop, test and support secure, scalable web, mobile and cloud-based applications that enable researchers to make a meaningful impact.

Working across the full software development lifecycle, you will collaborate with diverse stakeholders to deliver high-quality digital products, contribute to continuous improvement, and ensure applications

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years' experience in a Full Stack Development role.
• Experience with modern frameworks such as React or similar.
• Knowledge of cloud-based development, ideally within AWS environments.
• Experience with relational databases, SQL and RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and version control tools such as Git.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain websites, web applications, PWAs, mobile apps and AWS cloud solutions.
• Design and build RESTful APIs and integrations with third-party systems.
• Implement responsive, accessible and user-friendly interfaces.
• Support testing, troubleshooting and defect resolution activities.
• Ensure applications meet quality, security and accessibility standards.
• Produce clear technical documentation and user guides.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
