Job summary

Jora New Zealand is seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Developer in Napier, Hawke's Bay. You will work across the entire technology stack to design, build, deploy, and maintain business-critical applications with real impact.

Responsibilities include building scalable software, optimising SQL queries, and containerising with Docker. You will collaborate with stakeholders, contribute to CI/CD, and help manage cloud and on-premise infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Solid working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience building front-end applications with React or similar frameworks.
• Proven experience developing with Node.js and backend services.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications from database through to user interface.
• Build clean, scalable, and maintainable software solutions.
• Develop and optimise SQL-based data structures and queries.
• Design, build, and support services running on Node.js.
• Contribute to React-based front-end applications and user experiences.
• Containerise and deploy applications using Docker.
• Support and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Participate in code reviews and collaborative development with Git.
