Job summary

SGS New Zealand is seeking Plant & Terminal Operators in Napier for casual, on-site work. You will unload fuel and bitumen ships, follow all safety procedures and procedures, and adapt to day, night, weekend and public-holiday shifts in a 24/7 operation.

The role suits energetic individuals who value reliability, teamwork, and safety. Ideal candidates are physically fit and capable of maintaining accurate written records, with a NZ Class A driver licence.

Qualifications

• Must manage time effectively in a busy environment.
• Reliable, committed team member with a positive attitude.
• Physically fit and able to handle manual work outdoors.
• Good verbal communication and accurate written record keeping.
• A current full Class A New Zealand driver licence is essential.
• Forklift certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Unload fuel and bitumen from ships safely.
