Job summary

Juted Holdings in Waihi is seeking a Production Operator to build timber wall frames, roof trusses and floor cassette systems. You will operate production machinery, power tools, and ensure quality throughout the process, while supporting a lean, safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in frame & truss manufacturing or practical construction as a hammer hand or carpenter.
• Strong hand-tool and power-tool skills, with confidence in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to read basic plans or work instructions (training provided).
• Reliability, punctuality, and a strong team-focused attitude.
• Good communication and a commitment to high-quality work.
• Basic computer skills - comfortable using screens, software, or digital instructions to operate machinery and complete online training modules.

Responsibilities

• Build and assemble timber wall frames, roof trusses and floor cassette systems.
• Operate production machinery, power tools, saws, and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain quality throughout the manufacturing process with accurate measuring, checking and assembly.
• Work within a structured production line and support a smooth workflow across all stations.
• Follow health & safety requirements and contribute to a clean, organised, lean working environment.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.
• Assist with material movement, loading, stacking and general production tasks as needed.
