Qualifications

• Strong management accounting or financial management experience.
• Confidence across monthly reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and audit preparation.
• The ability to turn financial information into clear, useful advice.
• Experience supporting senior leaders, boards or governance committees.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A practical approach to change, improvement and problem-solving.
• Sound judgement, professional integrity and the confidence to challenge constructively.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly financial reporting, including profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow and variance analysis.
• Provide clear, practical insight to the Chief Executive, Board and Finance and Risk Committee.
• Support mid-year reforecast, annual budgeting and year-end audit process.
• Identify emerging financial risks, opportunities and sustainability initiatives.
• Help make thoughtful decisions about reserves, investment, costs and future priorities.
• Provide oversight of financial administration and work with external accountant and auditor.
• Translate financial decisions into a clear story about impact, stewardship and long-term sustainability.
• Navigate financial conversations for Bellyful as a national organisation with strong local identities.
