Job summary

AWF New Zealand is hiring for a production operator in Balclutha, Otago. The role involves lifting heavy milk powder into hoppers and working on a busy production line with sampling, testing and data entry. You will follow strict health, safety and quality standards on site.

The position operates a rotating 4-on/4-off roster with 12-hour shifts from early morning to early evening, and requires an F endorsement and OSH certificate plus a background in food production or manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Must Hold a current F endorsement and OSH certificate.
• Previous experience in manufacturing (food production preferred).
• Strong understanding of workplace health, safety, and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Lifting and tipping heavy (20kg+) milk powder into hoppers.
• Operate on a busy production line with sample testing, QA and data entry.
• Follow health and safety, hygiene procedures and food safety standards.
