Job summary

New Zealand Post is hiring a Processing Officer in Taupō to sort, consolidate and dispatch parcels for courier delivery. The role involves driving a forklift for up to 6 hours per shift, with health and safety as a priority and a night shift allowance for eligible hours.

You will be part of a team ensuring accurate parcel handling and on-time distribution, with opportunities for development and benefits as a permanent employee of NZ Post.

Qualifications

• Forklift OSH cert and/or F Endorsed Drivers licence are required.
• Must be comfortable with a physically demanding role and lifting up to 25 kg.
• Be a committed teammate and prioritise safety on site.

Responsibilities

• Sort, consolidate and dispatch parcels and freight at the Taupō site.
• Drive a forklift for up to 6 hours per shift; ensure health and safety.
• Support delivery readiness for courier handover.
