Job summary

Reliance Recruitment’s Hornby warehouse in Christchurch is seeking a Storeperson with forklift experience to join a friendly team. The role involves picking/packing using an RF scanner, unloading/loading pallets, stock movement, and general stores duties.

You will operate the forklift as required, help with data entry, and contribute to efficient daily operations in a small, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Forklift certificate is required.
• Previous stores or warehouse experience is required.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Good level of fitness with walking and lifting.
• Positive attitude and willingness to muck in.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack orders using an RF scanner.
• Unload and load pallets (repetitive lifting).
• General stores duties and stock movement.
• Rack and stack items and maintain shelves.
• Operate forklift when needed.
• Enter data and records accurately.

Are you physically fit, experienced in stores work, and looking to join a friendly, down-to-earth team? Our well-established garden supply warehouse based in Hornby is on the lookout for a reliable team member to assist with day-to-day operations, 35-40hrs per week.

About the Role

• Picking and packing orders using an RF scanner
• Unloading & Loading pallets (repetitive lifting involved)
• General stores duties and stock movement
• Racking & Stacking

What You'll Need
