Job summary

CHEP is seeking a Service Centre Assistant for the afternoon shift to support forklift operations in our yard and across the Service Centre. You will move pallets, load and unload trucks, and collaborate in a safety-first environment while contributing to daily production targets.

Training may cover pallet repair and crate wash as needed. The role requires forklift experience (F endorsement, OSH forklift licence) and a full New Zealand driver’s licence, plus a readiness to learn across Centre

Qualifications

• Experience operating forklifts with F endorsement and OSH Forklift licence.
• Full NZ drivers licence (essential).
• Experience with power tools.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift to move pallets around the yard.
• Unload/load pallets on and off trucks.
• Follow safety procedures to maintain a safe workplace.
• Contribute to production targets while upholding quality standards.
• Learn pallet repair, bin and crate wash as needed to cover staff shortages.
