Rydges Auckland, part of EVT Limited, is seeking a Food and Beverage Attendant for a part-time role in Auckland. You will deliver friendly service across restaurant, bar and breakfast, taking orders and maintaining areas to hotel standards.

Ideal candidates have hospitality experience, a warm customer-service approach, and availability for evenings, weekends, and public holidays. Knowledge of food safety and RSA is preferred or willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Previous food and beverage or hospitality experience preferred; attitude matters most.
• Warm, genuine approach to customer service.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Knowledge of food safety and responsible service of alcohol or willingness to learn.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Right to work in New Zealand.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly, attentive food and beverage service to guests across restaurant, bar and breakfast service.
• Take and process orders accurately, and serve food and drinks to a high standard.
• Set up, maintain and reset dining areas, bar and service stations to hotel standards.
• Respond to guest requests and feedback promptly, turning any issue into a positive experience.
• Follow food safety, responsible service of alcohol and hygiene procedures at all times.
• Work closely with kitchen, bar and front of house teams to keep service running smoothly.
