Job summary

EVT Group is seeking a Room Attendant at Rydges Auckland to ensure guests experience a clean, comfortable stay. The role covers guest rooms, public areas, and hotel facilities, with a focus on quality and guest satisfaction.

The successful candidate will have previous hotel housekeeping experience, strong physical stamina, and the flexibility to work weekends and evenings in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or similar setting.
• Physical stamina to lift, push and move heavy objects.
• Flexible and reliable with the ability to work weekends/evenings.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare guest rooms and suites, including beds, dusting, vacuuming and sanitising surfaces.
• Replace linens and towels as needed, ensuring cleanliness.
• Restock amenities to hotel standards.
• Clean and maintain public areas, lobbies and corridors.
• Report maintenance issues to the Housekeeping Manager or Maintenance Team.
• Handle lost and found items per policy.
• Respond promptly to guest requests to enhance their stay.
• Assist with laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, storing linens.
• Follow PPE and cleaning chemical safety protocols.
• Maintain flexible availability including weekends and evenings.
