Job summary

SO/ Auckland is seeking a Part-Time Food & Beverage Attendant to join our luxury hotel in Auckland's CBD. You will be hands-on and detail-driven, delivering exceptional guest experiences across Harbour Society, HISO Rooftop, and Club Lounge.

We value passionate, creative and confident team players who can work rotating rosters, including weekends and public holidays. Prior F&B experience in a high-paced luxury setting is advantageous; staff meals, uniform laundering, and extensive hotel

Qualifications

• Provide a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers.
• Prepare bar areas with adequate supplies and stock levels, and communicate replacements to the manager.
• Monitor quality of menu and food service to uphold high standards.
• Follow health and safety guidelines including Responsible Service of Alcohol and food hygiene.
• Ensure club lounge is clean and presentable to the highest standard.
• Able to work independently with trust between you and management.
• Previous experience in a similar F&B role is preferred.
• Strong grooming and communication; willing to provide excellent service.
• Experience in a luxury/high-paced environment is an advantage but not required.
• Ability to work on a rotating roster including weekends and holidays.

Job Description

We are currently looking for F&B Superstars to join our team here at SO/ Auckland! We are looking for:

• F&B Attendants (Waiters) for our Signature Restaurant, Harbour Society
• Bar Attendants for our popular and lively Rooftop Bar, HISO
• Club Lounge Attendant for our exclusive Club Lounge (Executive Lounge)

We are looking for passionate, creative, playful and confident people!

Qualifications

• Provide a high level of customer service to both external and internal customers and reinforce wherever possible our commitment to customer service
• Prepare bar areas, ensuring an adequate supplies and suitable stock levels within the bars to service the operation. Advise the manager of replacement requirements
• Monitor the quality of all menu and food production and service to ensure high standards are maintained at all times
• Make sure H&S guidelines are adhered to at all times such as Responsible Service of Alcohol, Food hygiene etc
• Ensure that club lounge is clean and presentable to the highest standard for our guests
• Can work independently and responsibility with a high level of trust between yourself and management
• Previous experience in similar role within food & beverage
• Exceptional grooming & articulate in communication and willingness to provde the best customer service
• Previous experience within a high paced/luxury environment is highly advantageous but not required
• You understand the nature of the business and can work on a rotating roster basis, including weekends and public holidays
