Job summary

Accor is seeking a Food & Beverage Supervisor at Peppers Bluewater Resort in Lake Tekapo. You will lead the front-of-house team to deliver exceptional dining experiences while upholding high standards of quality and guest satisfaction.

Minimum 3 years’ relevant hospitality experience or NZ Diploma. The role requires flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays, and offers a permanent full-time contract with competitive pay in NZD per hour.

Qualifications

• NZ Diploma or equivalent is required or minimum 3 years’ relevant experience.
• Demonstrated passion for hospitality and customer service excellence.
• Ability to lead and motivate a diverse front-of-house team across shifts.

Job description

Overlooking scenic Lake Tekapo, in the heart of New Zealand's central South Island, is Peppers Bluewater Resort. The resort is comprised of one, two and three bedroom suites and villas set amongst the purest natural landscape of Mt Cook & Mackenzie region. Guests can enjoy stunning views from Rakinui Restaurant & Bar and experience the farm to table dining concept. Many a special event has taken place at Peppers Bluewater with the team creating bespoke weddings and conferences. On your days off immerse yourself in the peaceful lifestyle by enjoying the abundance of relaxing activities Lake Tekapo has to offer such as horse-riding, hot pools and stargazing.

Purpose

As a Food & Beverage Supervisor, you are at the forefront of creating a variety of dining experiences that showcase exceptional taste and service. Your main goal is to guide a unified team, guaranteeing the flawless execution of food and beverage operations while maintaining the establishment's high standards of quality and guest satisfaction.

Minimum 30, Maximum 48 hours

Pay Rate

29-30 NZD per hour

Minimum Experience/Qualifications

NZ Diploma or equivalent, OR minimum 3 years’ relevant experience

Skills And Experience

• Demonstrated genuine passion and enthusiasm for the hospitably and food sector
• Prior history of guiding and empowering teams with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences
• Familiar and well-versed across diverse food & beverage settings and have flexibility to work across different schedules including weekends and public holidays as required
• Possession of a valid RSA or an equivalent qualification for the specific Country / State / Territory
• Passion for engaging with patrons and leading a team of diverse professionals
