Job summary

Rendezvous Heritage Hotel Queenstown, part of TFE Hotels, seeks a Food & Beverage Attendant to deliver warm, professional guest service and contribute to memorable dining experiences. You will prepare beverages, deliver meals, and support a high-performing team in a busy hotel environment.

About the Role

We are currently recruiting a passionate hospitality professional to join our Food & Beverage team as a Food & Beverage Attendant at Rendezvous Heritage Hotel Queenstown.

You'll help create memorable dining experiences through genuine hospitality, exceptional service and meaningful guest connections. Whether preparing a coffee, crafting a cocktail or delivering table service, you'll help create moments guests remember.

Working as one team, you'll contribute to an atmosphere where great food, great service and genuine hospitality come together.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional guest experiences through warm, professional and attentive service.
• Build genuine relationships with guests by anticipating needs and creating memorable moments.
• Maintain a clean, organised and welcoming work environment in accordance with brand standards.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver seamless service during all operating periods.
• Follow workplace health and safety, food safety and responsible service requirements relevant to your role.
• Process guest requests and enquiries professionally and efficiently.
• Maintain product knowledge to confidently assist guests and enhance their experience.
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive and high-performing team culture.
• Maintain composure and a solutions-focused approach during changing service demands.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and provide knowledgeable menu recommendations.
• Deliver meals and beverages efficiently while maintaining exceptional table service standards.
• Prepare, reset and maintain dining areas to support an outstanding guest experience.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Professional presentation and a positive, guest-focused attitude.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure while managing multiple priorities.
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Previous experience in hospitality, food service or customer service preferred.
• Confidence using POS systems and handling customer transactions.
• Good food and beverage knowledge with a willingness to continuously learn.
• Ability to anticipate guest needs and deliver personalised service.

Qualifications, Certifications & Licenses

• Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification (where required).
• Food Safety or Food Handling Certificate, where required.
• Hospitality or Food & Beverage qualification is advantageous.
