Job summary

Florence Nightingale Agency in Dunedin is seeking experienced Support Workers to provide in-home care and community-based support to clients across the city. You will help clients live independently, assist with daily living, and build meaningful, long-term relationships with the people you support.

Shifts include short, part-day, full-day, and weekends. Applicants should have Health and Wellbeing Level 2–4, a NZ driver’s licence and reliable vehicle, and be within 15 km of Dunedin.

Qualifications

• Experience as a support worker, caregiver, or personal care assistant.
• Experience in in-home care, community support, disability support, or aged care.
• A Level 2, Level 3 or Level 4 Health and Wellbeing qualification (essential). Applications without a health qualification may not be considered.
• A full New Zealand driver’s licence and your own reliable vehicle.
• The ability to work within 15km of Dunedin.
• A genuine desire to care for others and give back to your community.

Responsibilities

• Shift options include short shifts (from 1 hour), part-day, full-day, and weekends.
