Job summary

Halter seeks a Junior Fleet Operations Engineer to join our Fleet Operations team. You will monitor fleet performance, triage issues, and coordinate resolutions while designing internal tooling and dashboards to scale operations globally.

You will collaborate with Fleet Engineers, Product, Deployment, Customer Experience, and Software teams to improve incidents, detection, and resolution speed.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Comfort with dashboards, logs, tools and APIs.
• Builder mindset focused on scalable internal tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and data patterns.
• Clear, concise communication across teams.
• Good time management in fast-paced environments.
• Passion for supporting farmers and Halter's mission.

Responsibilities

• Monitor fleet performance and triage issues.
• Investigate technical support tickets related to collar and tower performance.
• Collaborate with engineering, product and deployment teams.
• Build and improve internal tooling, dashboards, and automation.
• Document processes and update knowledge bases.
• Occasional field visits to customer farms.
• Participate in on-call roster.
