Auckland Radiology Group is seeking a Medical Imaging Technologist for a fixed-term, full-time role across our Auckland branches, January 2027 to January 2028. You will provide professional imaging services, explain procedures to patients, and ensure high-quality diagnostic images with proper documentation.

The role requires MRTB registration with APC, and a strong commitment to patient care and teamwork within our modern radiology network.

Qualifications

• Must hold current registration with the Medical Radiation Technologist Board and an Annual Practising Certificate.

• Ability to work across multiple Auckland branches with professionalism.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a talented and patient-focused Medical Imaging Technologist to join our team across our Auckland branches. This is a full time (40 hours) fixed term role, January 2027 to January 2028.

As a Medical Imaging Technologist at Auckland Radiology Group, your purpose is to provide a professional, caring and quality imaging service to all patients and provide explanations appropriate to the procedure.

In this role, you will use relevant and current technical skills to expertly explain and perform all radiological procedures for patients, and take responsibility for producing the highest quality of diagnostic imaging, working with a high degree of independence. You will demonstrate a high standard of working knowledge of medical imaging equipment and computer systems, and ensure all documentation is current, accurate, timely and maintains confidentiality within a legal and ethical framework.

You will deliver patient care in line with patient code of rights and other relevant legislation, seek and gain informed consent for all procedures, perform examinations efficiently to keep patient waiting times to a minimum, and act considerately and compassionately to all patients.

With locations across Auckland, you will be joining a team of caring, experienced professionals committed to delivering clear, timely results that support the health and wellbeing of every patient who walks through our doors.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• A relevant qualification and current registration with the Medical Radiation Technologist Board, including a current Annual Practising Certificate
• Sound knowledge of Medical Radiation Technology techniques and practices, and a commitment to excellence in delivering patient care
