Job summary

Auckland Radiology Group is seeking a Medical Imaging Technologist for a full-time fixed-term role across Auckland branches. You will perform radiological procedures, explain outcomes to patients, and ensure the highest quality diagnostic imaging with a strong emphasis on patient care.

Applicants should hold current registration with the Medical Radiation Technologist Board and an Annual Practising Certificate, with sound knowledge of radiation technology techniques.

We are seeking a talented and patient-focused Medical Imaging Technologist to join our team across our Auckland branches. This is a full time (40 hours) fixed term role, January 2027 to January 2028.
As a Medical Imaging Technologist at Auckland Radiology Group, your purpose is to provide a professional, caring and quality imaging service to all patients and provide explanations appropriate to the procedure.
In this role, you will use relevant and current technical skills to expertly explain and perform all radiological procedures for patients, and take responsibility for producing the highest quality of diagnostic imaging, working with a high degree of independence. You will demonstrate a high standard of working knowledge of medical imaging equipment and computer systems, and ensure all documentation is current, accurate, timely and maintains confidentiality within a legal and ethical framework.
You will deliver patient care in line with patient code of rights and other relevant legislation, seek and gain informed consent for all procedures, perform examinations efficiently to keep patient waiting times to a minimum, and act considerately and compassionately to all patients.
