Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora in Tauranga is seeking a radiographer/ MRT to join a dedicated imaging team on a 0.9 FTE fixed-term parental leave contract until August 2027.

You will work with up-to-date imaging equipment, supporting radiologists and clinical staff to deliver high-quality diagnostic services. The role includes after-hours shifts, weekends, and on-call duties where required.

Qualifications

• Hold a current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) and registration with the NZ Medical Radiations Technologists Board.
• Experienced, approachable and professional with a team-based approach.
• Natural affinity for relationship building with patients and staff; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

About the Role

We are looking for an additional staff member to work 0.9 FTE, in a fixed term, parental leave contract until August 2027. This position would suit an experienced MIT.

The successful applicant will be required to participate in the out-of-hours roster as well as to be prepared to work rostered duties which include weekend and public holiday dayshifts, evening and night shifts.
