Playcentre Aotearoa, a licenced early childhood education provider, is seeking a motivated Human Resources Advisor for a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Based in New Zealand, the role covers recruitment and onboarding, employment documentation, HR queries, performance and remuneration processes, HR reporting and systems administration, with opportunities to contribute to projects and improve processes. This is a varied role to learn and grow in HR within a supportive team.

Competenze

• Interested in Human Resources, supported by a relevant qualification, currently studying towards one, or some experience in an HR, administration or people-focused role.
• Willingness to develop understanding of New Zealand employment practices and employment legislation.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to build positive relationships with managers and employees.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• A collaborative and flexible approach, with a willingness to contribute to the wider HR team.
• A positive, practical and solutions-focused attitude, with a willingness to learn and ask questions.

Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and people-focused individual to join our HR team on a 12-month fixed-term basis. Whether you are starting your HR career or looking to build on your existing experience, this is a great opportunity to develop your skills across a broad range of HR activities including recruitment and onboarding, employment documentation, general HR queries, performance and remuneration processes, HR reporting and systems administration. You will also have opportunities to contribute to HR projects and identify ways to improve our processes and systems.

This is a varied role where you can learn, grow your confidence and make a meaningful contribution while developing your HR career.

About You

You are organised, approachable and enthusiastic about working with people. You have a genuine interest in Human Resources and are keen to learn, develop and build your experience in a supportive team environment.

You will ideally bring:
