Job summary

Bapcor New Zealand is hiring an Assistant Branch Manager to support daily branch operations and lead a diverse team of customer service staff, drivers and warehouse personnel. You will help drive commercial results while maintaining safety and a customer-focused culture.

As right-hand to the Branch Manager, you’ll lead by example, coach team members, and ensure accurate, timely execution of tasks across service, warehouse and delivery functions. A full clean driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in automotive or trade context preferred.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Leadership experience or strong potential to lead a small team.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive, can-do attitude with a team-first approach.

We’re looking for an experienced and motivated people leader to take on the role of Assistant Branch Manager at our branch!

As the right-hand to the Branch Manager, you’ll play a key role in driving branch success — overseeing daily operations, supporting a diverse team, and helping deliver strong commercial results.

You’ll help to lead a varied team including customer service representatives, drivers, warehouse assistants and the day-to-day internal operational activities in the branch. Plus, you’ll be in control of Customer Service, warehouse and delivery functions. Your leadership will help create a safe, efficient, and customer-focused workplace.

• Customer service experience (automotive or trade industry experience is a big plus)
• Computer skills are amust(basic excel skills are advantageous)
