CAL>Isuzu Ltd. in Hamilton, Waikato is seeking a Fitter-Welder Fabricator to join our busy engineering workshop. The role offers an hourly rate from 29.66 to 45.00 NZD with a minimum of 40 hours per week, in a dynamic workshop environment in Te Rapa, Hamilton.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in fabrication or welding and 3+ years in the automotive/engineering sector, plus a clean Class 1 licence. We provide competitive pay and benefits including medical insurance and shift options.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience in fabrication or welding.
• At least 3 years experience in the automotive, transport and engineering industry.
• Proficiency in communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• A clean full Class 1 licence; Heavy Traffic licence advantageous but not mandatory.
• Strong dedication to Health & Safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, weld, assemble and repair metal components and equipment.
• Read drawings, measure and cut materials, weld to specifications, fit components.
• Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards.

Depending on experience, remuneration starts from $29.66 - $45.00 per hour, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.

The ideal candidate will possess:
