Job summary

6am Recruitment is seeking a hands-on fitter, fabricator and welder for a well-established Canterbury workshop. You will work with a variety of metals, with aluminium experience advantageous, ensuring high standards of welding and fabrication.

You must have a reliable work history, health and safety commitment, and be able to work without supervision in a team. Visa or NZ residency is required to apply, with opportunities for career progression and overtime remuneration.

Qualifications

• Hands-on fitter, fabricator and welder with proven work history.
• Strong commitment to health and safety in the workshop.
• Reliable and able to work unsupervised in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform high standard workshop fabrication and welding.
• Work with a variety of metals; aluminium experience is an advantage.
• Maintain quality and accuracy; no two days are the same.
