Job summary

Noventistalentsolutions Co is seeking skilled Fitter & Turner (Machinists) for long-term opportunities across New Zealand. You’ll machine, assemble, maintain and repair mechanical components in engineering, manufacturing and construction environments.

Typical duties include operating machine tools, precision machining to tight tolerances, fault diagnosis, reading technical drawings, assembling gear systems, basic welding and quality control with precision instruments.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification as a fitter & Turner or equivalent machining experience.
• Minimum 3 years hands-on machining, fitting and mechanical assembly experience.
• Strong understanding of machining processes, tolerances and measurement techniques.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and work with accuracy.
• Good problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
• Commitment to safety and maintaining a clean, organised workspace.
• Valid driver's licence and physical fitness for hands-on mechanical work.
