Job summary

First Fire Systems in Auckland is seeking a Fire Alarm Service technician with fault finding and programming experience to join our Alarm Service Team.

We install, service and maintain fire protection equipment across the greater Auckland region, with modern offices in Mt Wellington. The role requires independent work and teamwork, Monday to Friday 7:30am–4:00pm, and offers a social, supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Experience fault finding and programming on fire alarm systems.
• Good communication skills and teamwork.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Install, service and maintain fire protection equipment.
• Perform fault finding and programming on fire alarm systems.
• Work Monday to Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm in the Auckland region.

The successful applicantwill ideally have experience with NZ Fire alarm systems and have a good working knowledge of the relevant standardNZS4512. You must have the ability to work independently and as part of the team. Hours of work would be Monday to Friday 7.30am to 4.00pm

The applicant should also be someone with the following attributes:

• High level of communication skills
• Current clean Drivers License
• Ability to work autonomously
• Strong initiative
• Alarm maintenance, installation and programming capabilities
