Job summary

Fire Security Services – Hamilton, North Island is seeking a Senior Alarm Technician with a minimum of five years’ on-the-tools experience in fire alarm systems used in New Zealand. The role includes installation work, fault diagnosis, and rostered after-hours on-call duties.

You will need a full NZ Driver Licence and familiarity with NZS 4512 and the Building Act. On offer is great remuneration based on experience, NZQA training, and a modern vehicle with tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years’ experience on the tools with fire alarms in New Zealand.
• Knowledge of NZS 4512 and NZ Building Act.
• Full NZ Driver Licence and knowledge of NZ fire alarm standards.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out installation work as part of the Minor Works team.
• Diagnosing system faults.
• Rostered On-Call to attend afterhours call outs.
