Job summary

AntBank is seeking a Software Tester to validate its digital wallet, card issuance, and related fintech platforms. You will test web, mobile and backend systems, ensure transaction accuracy, and verify API integrations with external processors and gateways. The role emphasizes security, data integrity and PCI DSS-aligned practices.

Ideal candidates will have strong QA skills, experience with REST APIs, SQL, and test automation, plus a passion for fintech quality and reliability.

Qualifications

• A relevant qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• Experience in software testing, quality assurance or software development.
• Understanding of software development and testing methodologies.
• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience testing REST APIs and system integrations.
• Ability to prepare structured test cases and test reports.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to identify and reproduce complex software defects.
• Good written technical documentation skills.
• Understanding of software and data security principles.

Responsibilities

• Prepare test plans, test scenarios, test cases and test data based on business and technical requirements.
• Perform functional, integration, system, regression and user acceptance testing.
• Test web-based, mobile and backend applications.
• Identify, document and track software defects through to resolution.
• Retest corrected defects and conduct regression testing before production releases.
• Verify that delivered software meets approved business and technical requirements.
