As a Financial Accountant, you'll play an important role in ensuring ACC has accurate, reliable financial information to support decision-making across the organisation. Working as part of our Financial Accounting team, you'll contribute to statutory reporting, tax compliance, financial controls, reconciliations, and fixed asset management, helping deliver high-quality, timely financial accounting services that make a real impact.
Deliver accurate financial reporting and month-end close
Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
Maintain strong financial controls and support audits
Contribute to statutory reporting and tax compliance
Provide Finance SME support to projects
Drive process improvements and automation
The appointing salary for this role is $85,037 - $120,052 based on experience. ACC offers a comprehensive benefits package which at present includes an advantageous superannuation scheme (9% contribution) with features like no mandatory employee contribution, optional life and income protection insurance.
You will bring:
A tertiary qualification in accounting or equivalent.
ACAANZChartered Accountantmembership or equivalent.
Previousexperience in a large finance function, working with ERP systems.
A firm grasp of tax compliance.
An ability to analyse problemsthat may involve large sets ofdata andestablishand implementsolutions.
Aninterest incontinuous improvement and refining of accounting policies, processes, and procedures.
Good communicationacross a range of stakeholders.
A willingness to roll up your sleeves, be flexible and meet deadlines.
A good eye for detail and accuracy.
