Job summary

Stellar Recruitment is seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to join a high-performing team supporting a large, long-term contract within the utilities and telecommunications sector. This pivotal role blends commercial insight with financial leadership, partnering with operational and project leaders to drive performance, budgeting, forecasting, and profitability.

You will manage WIP, working capital, and cash flow while identifying risks and opportunities, with flexible working

Qualifications

Strong Finance Business Partnering, Project Accounting, or Commercial Finance experience.
Solid understanding of project-based environments, including WIP, forecasting, costing, and contract performance.
Ability to influence stakeholders and confidently challenge when required.
Strong communication skills and a commercial mindset.
Experience within infrastructure, utilities, construction, engineering, telecommunications, manufacturing, or other complex operational environments is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

Partner with operational and project leaders to provide commercial insights and challenge decision-making.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial performance analysis.
Manage WIP, working capital, cash flow, and contract profitability.
Identify risks and opportunities and provide data-driven recommendations.
Support continuous improvement initiatives, reporting enhancements, and process optimisation.
