The Porter Group is seeking a dynamic, commercially minded and self-motivated Capital Equipment Finance Manager to lead our growing Finance business.
Porter Finance provides retail finance solutions for equipment sold through the Porter Equipment Territory Manager network. Based at the Porter Group’s Hamilton Head Office, this is a senior, hands‑on role with responsibility for the day‑to‑day management and performance of the Finance business, including oversight of finance company functions across both New Zealand and Australia.
The successful candidate will also provide support across other Group functions where required.

This is a hands‑on Capital Equipment Finance role suited to an experienced finance professional with a background in Capital Equipment Finance, finance broking or business banking.
The primary objective of the role is to work closely with the Porter Equipment sales team to help customers purchase equipment through responsible, commercially focused and innovative finance solutions.
You will be a confident decision‑maker who understands both the commercial opportunities and risks associated with equipment finance. Just as importantly, you will be a people person who can build strong relationships, influence outcomes and work effectively across all levels of the business.
