Job summary

Zespri is the world’s leading kiwifruit marketer, with a 850+ team across 23 locations. We seek a Finance Business Partner to provide financial insight, commercial support and strategic analysis to help drivers of growth and value across the business.

You will report to the Finance Business Partnering Manager, partner with senior leaders, and coordinate budgeting, forecasting and strategic analysis across cost centres while supporting shipping and supply chain with cost analytics.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in financial analysis, forecasting and budgeting within a large organisation.
• Ability to translate financial information into clear commercial insights and drive decision-making.
• Experience partnering with business leaders and influencing outcomes, with strong stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to provide financial advice, insights and recommendations.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning across key cost centres.
• Support shipping and supply chain teams with cost analysis, forecasting and reporting.
• Analyse financial performance, identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Develop business cases, financial models and investment analyses.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and reporting enhancements.

The Finance Business Partner role is a global position, reporting directly to the Finance Business Partnering Manager. You will provide financial insight, commercial support, and strategic analysis that helps drive better decision-making across Zespri.

You Will Be Responsible For

• Partnering with business leaders to provide financial advice, insights and recommendations
• Leading budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities across key cost centres
• Supporting shipping and supply chain teams with cost analysis, forecasting and reporting
• Analysing financial performance, identifying trends, risks and opportunities
• Developing business cases, financial models and investment analyses
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives, process enhancements and reporting improvements
• Building strong relationships across Finance, Supply Chain, Shipping, People and senior leadership teams

With Experience In Finance, Commercial Analysis, Or Business Partnering Within a Large And Complex Organisation, You Will Meet The Following Selection Criteria

• Strong financial analysis, forecasting and budgeting capability
• Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with financial systems and reporting tools
• Ability to translate financial information into clear commercial insights
• Experience partnering with business leaders and influencing decision-making
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
• A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and embracing new technologies, including AI
