Job summary

Zespri Group Limited in Mount Maunganui seeks a Finance Business Partner to provide financial insight, commercial support and strategic analysis that guides decision‑making across the group.

You will partner with business leaders, lead budgeting, forecasting and planning across cost centers, support shipping and supply chain cost analysis, and develop robust business cases while championing continuous improvement and innovative analytics.

Qualifications

• Experience in finance, commercial analysis or business partnering within a large organisation.
• Strong ability to translate financial information into commercial insights.
• Proactive mindset with continuous improvement and adaptability to new technologies, including AI.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to provide financial advice, insights and recommendations.

The Finance Business Partner role is a global position, reporting directly to the Finance Business Partnering Manager. You will provide financial insight, commercial support, and strategic analysis that helps drive better decision-making across Zespri.

You will be responsible for:

• Partnering with business leaders to provide financial advice, insights and recommendations
• Leading budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities across key cost centres
• Supporting shipping and supply chain teams with cost analysis, forecasting and reporting
• Analysing financial performance, identifying trends, risks and opportunities
• Developing business cases, financial models and investment analyses
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives, process enhancements and reporting improvements
• Building strong relationships across Finance, Supply Chain, Shipping, People and senior leadership teams

With experience in finance, commercial analysis, or business partnering within a large and complex organisation, you will meet the following selection criteria:

• Strong financial analysis, forecasting and budgeting capability
• Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with financial systems and reporting tools
• Ability to translate financial information into clear commercial insights
• Experience partnering with business leaders and influencing decision-making
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
• A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and embracing new technologies, including AI
