Isaac Theatre Royal in Christchurch is seeking a Finance Administrator to provide day-to-day transactional and administrative support to the finance function, helping maintain accurate records and support payroll and reconciliations.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, the Finance Administrator provides day-to-day transactional and administrative support to the finance function, helping maintain accurate financial records, processing accounts payable and receivable, and supporting bank reconciliations and payroll administration. The role is for 16 to 20 hours a week.
The role also provides administrative support for board pack preparation, tax and compliance filings, and general finance administration, freeing up the Head of Finance’s time for reporting, strategy, and governance work.
As the ideal candidate you will be accurate and detail-oriented, comfortable with data entry, reconciliations, and juggling multiple administrative tasks to meet deadlines.
A good communicator, you will enjoy supporting working in a small team with some independence during part-time hours, building positive relationships with suppliers and colleagues across the Theatre.
