Job summary

Bluecurrent is seeking a Field Operations Manager to lead Bluecurrent Electrical Services across New Zealand. You will manage a geographically dispersed team and contractors to deliver safe, reliable, and customer-focused field service outcomes.

You will drive commercial performance, improve productivity and utilization, and design an operating model that scales with growth, while upholding strong health, safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Experience leading operations in field services or similar complex environments.
• Strong commercial discipline, including cost-to-serve and productivity improvements.
• Proven ability to manage contractors or field service providers.
• Commitment to health, safety and environmental leadership.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and change leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead BES to deliver safe, reliable field services across New Zealand.
• Drive productivity, utilization and cost-to-serve through scheduling and prioritization.
• Own commercial and operational performance including rates and service levels.
• Establish governance with KPIs, cost controls and benefits tracking.
• Shape an operating model that enables growth and clear accountability.
• Foster collaboration across geographically dispersed teams and contractors.
