Placements24 is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to install, maintain, and repair solar panels, battery storage systems, and related electrical components across the Queenstown region. This hands-on role requires independence and a focus on safety and reliability of renewable energy installations.

You will troubleshoot issues, conduct site inspections, maintain service reports, and provide on-site technical support to customers.

Qualifications

• Technical qualification or trade certification in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Technology, or a related field.
• Proven field technician experience with solar energy systems or electrical installations.
• Strong understanding of electrical principles, wiring and safety standards.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools, multimeters and testing equipment.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel within Queenstown area.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and perform routine maintenance on solar PV systems and battery storage solutions.
