Job summary

Crown Lift Trucks New Zealand is seeking a skilled field technician to support Canterbury region customers from Christchurch. The role focuses on planned maintenance and later on non-scheduled repairs for mechanical battery electric and internal combustion forklifts.

You will gain exposure to multiple models and develop your technical skills in a dynamic, client-facing environment. The position requires a minimum of 2 years in automotive or forklift-related work, a relevant trade qualification,

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of automotive, material handling or forklift experience.
• Preferred trade qualification or equivalent overseas qualification.
• Customer-centric and solutions-focused attitude.
• IT savvy and agile learner; able to travel with overnight stays.
• Full NZ driver’s license; ability to travel regularly.

Responsibilities

• Perform field-based planned maintenance on forklifts in Canterbury region.
• Eventually perform field-based non-scheduled repairs on forklifts.
• Deliver high levels of customer service and meet KPIs.
• Undertake service and repairs within OEM guidelines.
