Job summary

Crown Lift Trucks New Zealand is seeking a field-based technician in Christchurch to service a wide range of lift trucks across the Canterbury region. You will perform planned maintenance and, over time, non-scheduled repairs while delivering excellent customer service.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in automotive or MHE, with a trade qualification preferred. Travel with overnight stays is required, and local candidates are favored.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' Automotive experience (auto electrical, motor mechanical or battery electric) or Material Handling Equipment or Forklift Tech experience.
• Customer-centric and solutions-focused attitude.
• Willing to travel with regular overnight stays.
• Must be able to work in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Performing field based planned maintenance repairs on forklift trucks in accordance with SOPs.
• Eventually performing field based non-scheduled repairs on forklift trucks.
• Provide a high level of customer service and work towards set KPIs.
• Undertaking service and repairs within OEM guidelines.
