Job summary

Liebherr-Australia Pty. Ltd. is seeking an experienced technician based in Tauranga, New Zealand, to maintain and repair earthmoving equipment including wheel loaders, material handlers and excavators for our growing customer base.

You will diagnose faults, perform major and minor services, and complete service reporting while expanding customer relationships in the field. A trade qualification and at least 1 year of relevant experience are required, along with a current driver’s license and

Qualifications

• Relevant trade qualification and at least 1 year relevant work experience.
• Strong diagnostic skills and fault-finding ability.
• Flexibility to travel to customer sites and work over-time as required.
• A current driver's license.
• Forklift and Air conditioning accreditation advantageous.
• Basic Word and Excel abilities.
• Commitment to safety guidelines in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostics and troubleshooting of Mechanical, Hydraulic and Electrical systems.
• Major and minor services.
• Maintenance and component replacements.
• Fabrication and new machine build as required.
• Complete service reporting and manufacturers documentation.
• Expand and maintain customer relationships in the field.
• Dealing directly with Key Customers.
• Adhere to safety guidelines in the workplace.
