Field Service Technician

Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a field service mechanic to maintain and repair a broad range of heavy equipment in the Bay of Plenty region. You will diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults, perform major and minor services, and carry out fabrication and build work as needed.

You will also complete service reporting, interfacing with customers on site, and ensure strict safety practices. Travel to customer sites and overtime may be required, with a current driver’s license essential.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in the relevant field.
• At least 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities.
• Current driver’s license.
• Forklift accreditation advantageous.
• Air conditioning accreditation advantageous.
• Basic Word and Excel abilities.
• Commitment to safety in the workplace.

Responsibilities
