Job summary

Liebherr Earthmoving and Material Handling is seeking a motivated Field Service Technician to service, maintain and repair a broad range of equipment across Auckland and New Zealand. You will diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical issues and perform major and minor services in the field.

In this role you will expand and maintain customer relationships, complete service reports, and may be offered overtime beyond standard hours.

Qualifications

• Trade qualified as Diesel / Mobile Plant Mechanic.
• Experience with Liebherr earthmoving equipment is desirable.
• Ability to fault find on mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems.
• A current driver’s license is required.
• Forklift, W, T, R and air conditioning tickets are advantageous.
• Basic Word and Excel skills needed.
• Commitment to safety guidelines in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical issues in the field.
• Perform major and minor services; maintenance and component replacements.
• Fabricate and assist with new machine builds as required.
• Complete service reports after each job.
• Expand and maintain customer relationships in the field; deal with key customers.
• Work a minimum of 40 hours per week, Mon–Fri; overtime may be available.

About the role

Liebherr Earthmoving and Material Handling is seeking a motivated and driven Field Service Technicians. In this role you will work in the field across Auckland and New Zealand to service, maintain and repair a broad range of our equipment including wheel loaders, material handlers and excavators.

Duties

• Mechanical, Hydraulic and Electrical diagnosis
• Major and minor services
• Maintenance and component replacements
• Fabrication and new machine build as required
• Complete Service Reports
• Expand and maintain customer relationships in the field
• Dealing directly with Key Customers
• Minimum 40 hours per week Monday to Friday.
• You may be offered additional work beyond your ordinary hours of work at time and half.

Skills & Experience:
