BD is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support pharmacy automation and medication management systems across New Zealand. Based in Wellington region with regular travel, you will diagnose, repair and maintain BD Rowa and Pyxis equipment on-site at hospitals and retail pharmacists.
You’ll work with advanced electro‑mechanical technology, performing diagnostics, software/hardware fixes and remote support. On-call rotations and after-hours work may be required to meet SLAs.

This is a great opportunity for a field engineer based in or willing to relocate to Wellington NZ, with experience servicing automation, electro‑mechanical machinery, lab robotics, imaging equipment, or conveyancing systems, who wants to step into MedTech and work with cutting‑edge technology that directly supports medication safety and clinical workflow.
As a Field Service Engineer, you'll combine remote diagnostics with on‑site servicing, repairs, and preventative maintenance to keep BD Rowa and Pyxis performing at their best.
Based in Wellington, you'll provide field service support across New Zealand's central region, spanning both the North and South Islands. This role requires regular travel and participation in an on‑call rotation to support customer needs.
You’re hands‑on, technically strong, and thrive in field environments where no two days are the same. You enjoy solving complex problems on‑site, talking customers through solutions, and working with advanced electro‑mechanical technology.
